Pajama Day!

The one picture of the four year olds that I have...they were having a blast laying on the floor and then jumping up!

Rylie and Hali who wore the same Jammies

All the kids, minus Jaxon who didn't want to participate, maybe next time!
Ok I have been horrible at blogging for the preschool and horrible at taking pictures of the kids. My goal for this new year is to take lots of pictures, and hopefully get a new camera to do so :)!
Here are some fun pictures of the three year olds pajama day, I am so horrible that I forgot to take pictures of the four year olds, so sorry about that. So here are some fun pictures of them.

4 yr old happenings

The 4 yr olds have been so fun lately. I love seeing them form relationships with their peers and as Jacob says "I love ya man, you're my best bud" It makes me so happy to see them playing well together and just have a good time socially. I have also seen such an improvement in many of their skills since the beginning of the school year. Many of them had a hard time writing their letters and as we have progressed they are getting better and better. I have really enjoyed watching them grow and play. We are getting very excited for our field trip next week and can't wait to see how much fun they will have. Here are a few pictures from the last few weeks of them playing and having fun.
3 year old happenings

I have been having an amazing time teaching your children. Everyday I am with them the more I love being with them. The 3 yr olds are so much fun because they are so willing to learn and get so excited when they accomplish a new task. I have noticed over the last couple weeks that they don't play much together, which is completely normal. Most 3 yr olds are solitary players. I have also noticed that what we will be working a lot on in the coming weeks is solving problems with their peers. I feel like I am always telling one of the kids to not take a toy away and so forth, so typical of the age, but it is fun watching them start the beginnings of conflit resolution. Here are just a few pictures that I have taken while the kids have been playing.

Fun Pictures

Here are just a few pictures of the three year old finger painting. I never realized how big of a hit this was going to be. They loved making such a mess..they actually went through 3 papers because they didn't want to stop!
I have been having so much fun teaching your children this last month. I look forward to teaching them this next month, we have a lot of fun things planned and a fun Halloween party!

Its been a great 3 weeks!

Their favorite thing to do is play playdough!

They were excited to finger paint. We mixed blue and yellow and look what we got..green!

The 3 yr olds were so excited there was a train they all climbed on the swingset to see it better

Our cute 3 yr old class

Our cute 4 yr old class!
I apoligize for any of you who have been looking to this blog and there hasn't been anything. Between planning for school and taking care of my family I haven't quite had time to update. Now I feel that I have my routine in place and most the planning done that I will be able to update more often so you can see what your children have been up to.
We have made a lot of progress over the past three weeks. We went from the children not knowing the routine, arguing with me over what we were doing to them being excited for each new transition in the day. They now know what to expect all morning and they know when it will happen. I have had so much fun teaching your children about families, and even starting the letters this last week. If you get a chance to peek in the classroom you will have to see the Chicka-Chicka Boom Boom trees that made from their arms and hands. Each week we will be adding a new letter to the tree and eventually will have the whole alphabet up the "uh-oh...coconut tree!"
Also we have had a lot of fun learning about colors and its so fun to see the kids wear the same color. Here are just a few pictures from the last few weeks of class.
